understanding of the history and the

structure of transnational Islamist

movements in Asia;

• The evolution and the dynamics of

transnational terrorist movements in Asia

• The impact of transnational terrorist

movements on the conflicts in some of

the countries in the region such as India,

China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia

and Thailand.
